Formed in 2005, the Predators are a UK-based rock’n’roll band, hugely influenced by neo-rockabilly music, from Stray Cats to the Tin Cans, and from Restless to The Jime. But at the same time, we’re a band that likes to get people up dancing, so to describe us as "200mph rockabilly" is probably a bit exaggerated – we have a lot of time for artists like Darrel Higham, who plays rockabilly music in a modern way and at a tempo people can dance to. But our influences also go back beyond neo-rockabilly to include the original rock’n’roll and rockabilly music from the 1950’s, and also earlier genres, particularly R&B and boogie-woogie.
